The Fallkniven TK3 is a compact folding knife that combines lightness and strength with a timeless look. At Woodlore, when looking at new products we always give the functionality of a tool priority over its looks, but the TK3 happens to excel in both areas.
A 'deluxe' version of the TK4, the TK3 benefits from a superior handle, finished in solid steel with scales made of jigged bone. This improved handle offers increased strength and weight, giving the TK3 a more solid, finished feel compared to other folding knives. Jigged bone is a material specially selected from freewalking Highland cattle; it's a classic handle material that has long been used for its attractiveness and unparalelled longevity and strength.
The TK3's design allows the back of the blade to be used as a striker for your Fire Steel, even when the knife is in the closed position. Its size and weight make it an ideal knife to keep close at hand when you're out in the woods.
The new edge steel, 3G, is a revolutionary laminated anti-corrosive steel, with a core comprising the well-proven Super Gold Powder Steel (SGPS) with sides of VG2. With a hardness of 62 HRC, the blade boasts unbeatable edge retention. The TK3's blade also comes engraved with the exclusive Ray Mears Bushcraft logo.
With nail nicks in both sides of the blade, the knife is completely symmetrical and as easy to handle for both left-handed and right-handed users. The well-proven locking mechanism fixes the blade securely in its open position.
The folding knives in the Fallkniven Tre Kronor series are lightweight, safe and beautiful. The enduring design is the result of a long refinement process, focusing on the functional concept of the folding knife. Each knife is manufactured by hand in Sweden.
