The RWS Quick-Sharp is a one-stop knife sharpening kit, ideal for use both out in the field and at home. Its ultra-light and well-thought-out design makes it easy to pop into your rucksack or belt pouch when heading out for the day.
Simple, quick and very effective, it features two proven sharpening systems, meaning that even badly damaged blades can be made sharp again; a Carbide set of shears for
basic sharpening and a ceramic set for finishing.
To use, position the Quick-Sharp on a flat, firm surface and pull your knife through the Carbide shears at a 90 degree angle to the sharpener, maintaining a light pressure as you go. Once the required result is achieved, turn the Quick-Sharp over and pass the blade through the ceramic shears to put a fine, finishing edge to your knife. Non-slip rubber inserts on the top and bottom panels help to keep the sharpener in place.

A first rate delivery of the item I ordered on Sunday night, received it this morning (Tuesday). Very handy size and simple to use, my only minor grumble would be that the instructions could be in English, although the instructions on the website are perfect.

I had a rough idea of it's size from the photos above but was stunned at how small it actually is. Portable is an understatement. Six and a half centimeters wide and five and half tall.
I ran both my carbon steel knife and a old stainless steel Buck knife through it and in a very short time gave both a lovely edge with a very good bite. It even improved a couple of knives in the kitchen.
