Please read: To work out the correct size of the belt you need, take your waist size and add 10 inches to allow for freedom of movement. So, for example, if you have a 36 inch waist you will be best suited with a 46 inch belt. The sizes shown refer to the actual length of each leather belt, not the recommended waist size.

These belts are handmade from single pieces of soft and supple, fine quality heavy bridle butt. Each belt is cut from the length of the butt, and the leather will become even more supple over time.

Each belt now comes complete with the Ray Mears logo embossed onto it, making this product a very special item exclusive to Woodlore. The belt is finished with a heavyweight, solid brass buckle with roller. Two leather loops keep the free end of the belt in place; one fixed at the buckle and one free-running.

Being that they are made of thick leather, Woodlore Belts are strong enough to be used as knife strops or to lash things together.

Various lengths are available, ranging from 40 up to 56 inches.

All of our leather goods are individually hand-made in England, by a craftsman of 17 years experience. All leathers are vegetable tanned with full, natural grain, and are hand-dyed in house to the Woodlore colour.

You won't be disappointed with this. For the quality of leather I think it is a bargain - check out a 'designer' belt at any high street store for your own view on this. I'm a 35 inch waist and ordered the 48 inch belt. It's got plenty of holes and if anything is slightly short if you want it to go around several layers of wool or fleece. I will be getting another one for this! However, it is one piece of sturdy leather and I'm hoping if I do care for it properly it will last years.

Fantastic belt very robust, however I wish I had ordered one slightly longer being 32 inch waist I ordered a 44 inch belt, plenty of room for adjustment but over the top of cloths could do with a bit more length. A beautiful quality product, definitely a belt for life.

A real quality item, will last forever if looked after. I have the belt for about 3 months now and is now broken in, oiled to help that process, the quality is superb. The thickness of the belt gives you a real sense of security should the need arise to use it in an emergency for something else, with well spaced and plentiful holes most of the way round. Highly recommeded.

This is an excellent product from Woodlore. It's extremely robust, yet is beautiful and made to the highest quality. The fantastic finish and design means that, not only is it great for time spent in the woods, but also for use in everyday life. I think this is an essential piece of kit for anyone attending a course at Woodlore.
