Ortlieb Compression Dry Bag (Click for full size)
The Ortlieb range of Compression Dry Bags is perfect for use inside non-watertight rucksacks or for organising your gear in a pack while keeping it protected from the elements. These bags are ideal for use in limited space, e.g. on boats, motorbikes or bicycles and perfect for protecting soft equipment like clothing, tents, sleeping mats and sleeping bags.

They offer guaranteed protection for your kit and easy storage with their increased compressibility. A further shield from wear and tear is provided by the use of the extremely abrasion and tear resistant PS 25 fabric.

These compact and lightweight compression dry bags are Ortlieb’s smart and waterproof solution, featuring a valve as well as a secure sealing lip. The valve allows excess air to escape during packing. As a consequence, no space is wasted and no surplus volume is transported.

To secure the seal, simply roll down the closure, close the buckles, compress the bag and close the valve. To unpack, first open the sealing closure and valve, then take out the contents. A strong, fabric loop is fitted to the base panel for anchoring or holding when unpacking.

The easily operable roll-down closure is proven to be absolutely safe in any situation. Prior to immersion in water, roll at least four times and close the buckles. For extra security, the buckles provide enough space to attach a padlock. Once secured, the bag can also be utilised as a buoyancy aid.
