Ecowood Oil - Natural Wood Wipe

The art of wood carving has always been an important skill to learn in bushcraft, and is taught on a number of Woodlore's UK courses.

Spoons and bowls made in this way need caring for once they've been made, as repeat washing can soften the surface tissue and raise the fibres of the timber. To prevent this, the wood should be regularly nourished.

Oils such as olive are non-drying and can leave a sticky surface and increase the growth of mould. Drying oils such as this Natural Wood Wipe cure on exposure to air and are more resilient to water, alcohol and detergents, making them less susceptible to mould.

Perfect for protecting wooden bowls, utensils and chopping boards, this blend of citrus and nut oil also helps to rejuvenate tired-looking wood.
