As many viewers have noticed, Ray has been wearing a Swazi Tahr Jacket over the past couple of years whilst filming all over the world in some of the most extreme locations. This jacket has undoubtedly become Ray’s favourite item of clothing and we guarantee it will become yours too!
Ray, Swazi and the Woodlore team have been working closely to produce an exclusive Tahr Anorak. Woodlore are excited to announce that this elite Tahr Anorak incorporating new additional features is now finally available.
The Tahr is now made from a new improved fabric called Norton.
This fabric is a tri-laminate construction: woven polyester face-fabric, flannel liner with the GORE-TEX (R) membrane in between. This particular GORE-TEX material is a soft fabric, incredibly quiet and unbelievably comfortable to wear. Being a Gore Tex fabric it is of course totally windproof, waterproof and extremely breathable making it a versatile jacket ideal for UK outdoor activities such as stalking, canoeing, hunting and walking.

Like the original design, this Swazi jacket will give you an amazing 25% extra freedom of movement and comes complete with a high peripheral vision hood. The inner conforms to the contours of your face, while the outer protrudes into an adjustable peak, stiffened with both a durable liner and concealed-wire-lined hood. Stretch cuffs specially designed to keep icy water at bay complete this most durable piece of outdoor clothing.
