Para Cord is an essential piece of kit which no outdoor enthusiast should be without. Tough and non-rotting, this cord is capable of supporting up to 550 lbs, hence the name. If you've ever used this stuff you'll know that it's great and has a million different uses.

It's an ideal product to use with your bow drill to create fire by friction, as part of a snare to catch food, or simply as a place to hang your clothes at camp.

Cord usage is vast and this product is included on many of Woodlore's kit lists.

The amount of uses you can put this piece of kit through is only limited to your imagination, a near indispensable item that all bushcrafters should have a supply of in their pack.

Para Cord helps greatly for secure holding of tarps and tents. It is a real boon around the camp, and can be coiled and kept in pockets ready for use. Several lengths of good quality cord like this, when coupled with a moderate knowledge of knots and bends, helps to provide easy and happy woodland nights.
