These PLCE (Personal Load Carriage Equipment) compatible Karrimor Side Pockets, which are sold in pairs, are designed to provide extra storage for your Karrimor SF Sabre 45 or Sabre 75 rucksacks.

Attaching by means of tough zips down each side, they also feature fabric belt loops on their front panels. Straps on each rucksack then pass through these loops in order to hold the pockets securely (see photo above of pockets and rucksack together). Plastic buckles at both the top and bottom of each pocket help to reduce pocket movement even further.

These Side Pockets can also be used in conjunction with the Karrimor PLCE Yoke System, in order to create a light and comfortable alternative to a day sack.

Craftsmanship: 5/5 Every corner was properly taken care of, instead of being cut away. You get what you paid for. The bottom of each side pocket has a little hole to drain water, I like this design. Material: 5/5 The material is water repellant. Nevertheless, you can make it waterproof by applying Nikwax. Tech wash first, then TX Direct to waterproof it. Overall: 5/5 Excellent add-on kit for KSF Sabre series.

I purchased these pockets without owning a karrimor rucksack. By adding straps and buckles to my 40 litre rucksack, I managed to firmly attach this great piece of kit: they are tough, water resistant, with tough zips and sewing. They are well worth their price.
