0.3 This has become a firm favourite in our household. We use it both in the field and at home. A good bale giving generous clearance of the lid enables it to be easily suspended above a fire. Alternatively it can be placed directly upon a stove. Our usual practice is to put rice in the main compartment and a casserole in the upper tray. The steam from the water below then heats the casserole. The extra height, when compared with pots more usually used at home, reduces wastage from overspill. Use gloves to avoid burnt fingers, and a watch to avoid burnt rice. Being stainless, the container is easily cleaned with a wire pad.
