Loved by all the Woodlore instructors and students, these Stainless-Steel Zebra Billy Cans come in three different sizes.
This Billy Can measures 14 x 14 cm, weighs 0.750kg, and has a capacity of 2.5lt. Comes complete with an internal dish which can be used for steaming or cooking on above the main area of the can. Once your food is cooked the dish can also be used as a small plate.
The notch in the handle allows it to be suspended from a pot hanger. All of our Zebra Billy Cans can be used with The Honey Stove.
Please note that the 14 x 14 cm measurement refers to the internal dimensions of the main can. Please allow extra room in your rucksack for the lid and handle.

This has become a firm favourite in our household. We use it both in the field and at home. A good bale giving generous clearance of the lid enables it to be easily suspended above a fire. Alternatively it can be placed directly upon a stove. Our usual practice is to put rice in the main compartment and a casserole in the upper tray. The steam from the water below then heats the casserole. The extra height, when compared with pots more usually used at home, reduces wastage from overspill. Use gloves to avoid burnt fingers, and a watch to avoid burnt rice. Being stainless, the container is easily cleaned with a wire pad.
